The Archbishop of Bhopal

With deep joy and gratitude to God, I extend my warm greetings and blessings to all who visit the Infant Jesus Shrine, Vrindavan Nagar, Bhopal, a sacred place chosen by the Lord to pour out His love, mercy, and grace upon His people. The Infant Jesus Shrine stands as a powerful sign of God’s closeness to humanity. In the humble and gentle form of the Divine Child, we are reminded that God comes to us not in fear, but in love; not in power, but in tenderness. Those who approach the Infant Jesus with childlike faith never return empty-handed, for His Heart is rich in compassion and His hands are generous in blessing.

I thank God for the long journey of faith undertaken by the clergy, religious, and faithful of this parish, whose prayers, sacrifices, and devotion have transformed a humble beginning into a vibrant spiritual centre. The elevation of this parish to the status of an Archdiocesan Shrine is not merely an honour, but a call, a call to be a house of prayer, a place of healing, and a beacon of hope for all, especially the poor, the suffering, and the searching hearts. May this Shrine always remain a sacred refuge where families are strengthened, vocations are nurtured, faith is renewed, and hearts are drawn closer to Jesus. I pray that all who come here may experience the loving presence of the Infant Jesus and be filled with peace, trust, and missionary zeal.

Entrusting this Shrine, its clergy, volunteers, and all devotees to the loving care of the Infant Jesus and the maternal intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I invoke God’s abundant blessings upon you.
